Edit to my earlier comment, I should be more specific, like other artists might have well rendered models, but they are too smooth, too clean, too shiny, or some combination of those traits. Clopician here from what I could see gave Luna’s fur a little bit of texture, not so that it looks floofy or anything, but enough that it stands out. Again not hating on anyone, just an observation.

One thing that I can say is that Clopician has managed capture in this video the soft velvety look of fur. Too many animations either rely on show-canon art style or they have models that have super shiny “skin” like even when dry it looks like wet plastic. I’m not saying this to be hating or mean to the artists who do this, it’s merely an observation.
