My headcanon for Zebras in my MLP AU! Here’s some more info about em!

All zebra races originate from Zebrica, and have the shared tradition of wearing colorful jewelry, makeup, and clothing to spice up their naturally monochromatic color schemes, sometimes they even paint their stripes!

Plains Zebras
~Save for Zecora, they usually live in large herds and have bigger cities founded in the eastern and southern plains of Zebrica
~They need LOTS of hydration
~Into witchcraft and natural medicine studies, which is why Zecora is a part of this
~Usually wears some sort of gold jewelry

Mountain Zebras
~Have smaller herds made of family members, usually have secluded houses in the southern mountains of Zebrica
~The females are bigger than the males
~Usually wears colorful cloaks and jewelry (which is made from dyed thread and small beads)

Imperial Zebras
~Rarest species of zebra that live in the eastern parts of Zebrica
~Nomadic, travel in small herds, not all of which are relatives
~Usually wears beads and gold bands in their dreadlocks
