Lunar Supporter - Helped forge New Lunar Republic's freedom in the face of the Solar Empire's oppressive tyrannical regime (April Fools 2023).
Non-Fungible Trixie -

i piss myself
@Red Cedar
Honestly, I can kind of see where Trixie was coming from. She just wanted to do her show and three of the Mane 6 practically bullied her for doing her job. Doesn’t help that she was shunned and had her home vandalized for something that wasn’t even her fault.
Granted, the amulet thing was petty, but she didn’t know the effects of it. If anything, the whole thing reminds me of a classic “kid gets revenge on their bullies” story.

Y’all take this fanfic comic way too seriously. List one page that doesn’t devolve into a flamewar

I’m going to have to point out that the majority of punishments dished out solely by Celestia and Luna were like this.
And before them was Starswirl who did this exact thing and handed them the mirror.
It’s…actually extremely like them through out history, just not the immediate actions where Twilight and Harmony kinda started tempering them.
I get u hate celestia and Luna but this isn’t like them in canon lmao

This is mutiny! (gets furious at Celestia and Luna) Celestia, Luna, you decide to retire when I know that isn’t how real royalty works at all, and they are turned from wise leaders to cowardly, arrogant foolish mares! And you, Celestia, being afraid of chickens?! How could you?! 😤😠😡😡😡😡🔥🔥🔥🔥

@JamesGryph
It’s not simply the fact that it happened, so much as how the backstory doesn’t make much sense; “realistically,” would no changelings side with her, would she not mention anything, would it line up with her lyrics of “a day of which I’ve dreamed since I was small,” and that it came on the coattails of Cozy Glow’s backstory, which literally gave up on portraying its core aspect, with abuse, going on a spiel saying it’s “too dark,” and that they felt they couldn’t do it justice… but they then follow that up with attempted genocide. It continued the fanon trend of making ponies the ones at fault, for Chrysalis attacking them, despite absolutely nothing in canon or loose canon (comics) leaning that way.
It also doesn’t help that it continues the supposition of needing a tragic backstory to be reformed, when, no, a character doesn’t really need that, but it’s a shortcut if it’s purely black and white.
@JamesGryph
Maybe it’s the fact that Celestia and Luna, except for the off-chance they’re imposters on account of Discord (I believe they aren’t; the story seemed to foreshadow this with the real ones, and if it does go through with it being a twist, it came out of nowhere, and is a waste of time), are essentially strawmen with very little nuance to their arguments; the artist is going out of their way to make their position completely unsympathetic. They’re emphasizing how much they’d enjoy seeing it, rather than how it’s for the “greater good” or some such, that what if they’ve been lying about this?
Also, if you’d actually think a comic literally named “Fix” is going to have them actually go through with this, irrevocably succeed in punishing them… then I have a bridge to sell you.

Also weird how everyone who liked that the villains were punished in a cruel way are now upset that they’ll be punished in a different cruel way

Or he could just stop commenting those things that serve no purpose aside from riling things up on every single page of the comic. An easier way to ensure no issues.
Tell me why exactly you think that you need to tell me to stop and not him?
Not sure what you mean by “Not that toxic”. Feeling obligated to mock the concept at every opportunity of something I’m sure the artist works hard on and enough people are here to genuinely enjoy is still not cool just because it’s not the highest level of trolling.
You tell me to ignore it, and I do the vast majority of the time. But, what is this, page 102? Is it too much to ask to take a hint? Read the room? Question some life choices if we’re this deep into the story and you’re still coming here just to “rib” under the thin pretense of criticism for something you’ve disregarded on a conceptual level since the start?
It’s no different than watching all five seasons of a show you don’t like, so you can tell the people who do like it why it’s silly. Situations like that are disappointingly common, and I can’t imagine telling the people who genuinely enjoy it that they’re the problem for being annoyed by it.
So, again, why’s your issue with me here?

@Penguin Dragneel
Considering I’m always making a rebuttal to you and you borderline troll comments no.
It’s a poorly written end to something I loved, but all it did was strike a final nail.
I can list a dozen complaints of friends in high places like the high school Quarterback getting special treatment or the blind eye when it suits them mentality of people IRL.
And I will never treat that mentality as anything but an insult to the shows spirit, and a sign of utter incompetence and worthlessness of the person preaching it IRL.
