This sounds similar to what sports fans have tried to do to me.
1: The post-discovery “I CAN’T BELIEVE I LOVE PONIES I HAVE TO TELL SOMEONE” rush.
2: The sheer number of us. Individually, most of us might only occasionally say “it’s a great show, you should give it a shot” but there are so many people saying it that it is perceived as constant pestering.
You look silly too.
you are the only smart person here.
No, ‘you’ think I look silly. I think what some people need to understand is that there are people who don’t want to see ponies everywhere.
You now look silly.
And pony fandom is the most evangelical fandom on the internet outside of maybe Homestuck.
I don’t think it is more prevalent than in the case of any X TV show. Even if I did not care about the show, I would pick Pokémon everywhere > ponies everywhere any day. Call it Western pride.
Cats are not a girls TV show. Virtually every corner of the internet and every subject has ponies now in it, or has a ponified version of it. This can get annoying to people who dont like/dont care about bronies. I can understand because sometimes I just want to participate in other things of my interest, but there’s always someone popping up trying to ponify or ‘convert’. This also brings up the ‘Bronies try to hard to convince others to watch the show’ part. I like the show and all, but the fandom can get on my nerves sometimes.
Complaining about ponies being “everywhere” is like complaining about the omnipresence of cats on the internet. It just makes you look silly.

Well its true. And when was this test? I should’ve taken it.
Yeah, that and the fact that ponies are “everywhere” are the two main complaints I see about bronies.
Carry on Bronydom.
