Tbh I do prefer the concept design for zipp to what we got, I like the colors and her manestyle alot more
I can’t say the same for pipp I think, its pretty and all, but I do think I’ve just grown to her finalized design the most of all the ponies
Also she just keeps reminding me of that blonde chick from princess and the frog

E Zipp actually looks pretty good. I prefer that over all the other ones, but I still like the Zipp we got now. Calm looking Zipp is great.
Concept Pipp definitely looks better than actual Pipp, especially with those hats. I wish one those hats was in the final movie at least.

These are pretty good designs, but I do like the final versions we got. And I may be in the minority, but I think I prefer the final version of Zipp to this one. At the very least it looks a lot less like someone went overboard with the gradient fill tool.

I like her roaring 20’s style hat and hairstyle - it fits in nicely with the art deco design of Zephyr Heights.
Actually I’d put that hairstyle as more of a 30s and 40s look. The popular choice in the roaring 20s was short hair and ringlets. As for headwear, the final version of Pipp we got does have that gold headband with the one side protrusion, which would actually fit in fairly well with the style of that decade.

Both Pipps look good, though I do lean towards this one looking better (maybe I just prefer expressions in 2D style, I dunno) but damn this design for Zipp is 100x better than the final.

I won’t lie I kinda like Zipp more in the concept art. Maybe they wanted to make her look calmer instead of hot tempered.
But I still love that color palette. Also not that there is anything wrong with the one we got, but it is easier to tell Zipp is a mare.
I still love current Zipp’s wings though.

It's bad. In a good way!
Final Pipp’s design is forgettable. Final Zipp’s design is ugly.
Pipp here looks great, but I feel like I’ve seen her before? I might be thinking of one of the Voice Actor OCs.
And Zipp looks fantastic with an actually decent set of colors! Like a cooler Princess Sally.
