The griffoness gulped, a bit of blush on her feathery cheeks.
Looking around she saw other similar slabs, in varying states of completion, some chiseled, some set with wooden forms as if they were poured, and far on the end of the clearing there was a small workshop like house she hadn’t noticed before. But it seemed dark, unoccupied at least presently and there was nobody around.
An idea slithered into her mind that made her wiggle on her paws… no one would see! She rubbed her beak in thought. What would it hurt to give this thing a try?
