Well, I hope maybe the My Little Pony movie could get a Blue-ray Steelbook release next year during it’s fifth anniversary despite G4 had already ended. The Transformers movie already had a Blu-ray Steelbook release last month. And maybe next year, the G.I. Joe movie could get a 35th anniversary edition Blu-ray Steelbook release during its 35th anniversary and maybe the G.I. Joe movie 35th anniversary edition could possibly be hit theaters for a limited time but with DeLaurentiis Entertainment Group logo that did not distribute the G.I. Joe movie despite the movie not released in theaters due to the box office failure of the Transformers movie and the 1986 My Little Pony movie which is technically not based on the cartoon because the cartoon was released and set after the events of the two specials and the movie. And also, the My Little Pony movie from 2017 along with the Transformers movie from 1986 and the G.I. Joe movie from 1987 were all based off tv shows created by Hasbro. Both the G.I. Joe movie and the My Little Pony movie nearly killed off any old characters including the main character of the cartoon (thanks to Duke’s death being altered to a coma due to fan backlash of Optimus Prime’s death in the Transformers movie). Both the G.I. Joe movie and the My Little Pony movie have a main villain that has two henchmen, which is one male and one female, and also have unintelligible foot soldiers. Both the G.I. Joe movie and the Transformers movie were released in the 80s and set after the first two seasons of the cartoon. Both the Transformers movie and the My Little Pony movie were set before the cartoon’s final two seasons. Both the Transformers movie and the G.I. Joe movie have a villain who has been voiced by an actor that is now deceased. And both the Transformers movie and the My Little Pony movie have a minority of new characters died (while the Transformers movie killed off so many old characters since much of the 1984 toy line and almost half of the 1985 toy line were discontinued) and also have a villain who takes over, conquered, ruled, and attacked the main setting of a cartoon that a movie was based on while they along with the G.I. Joe movie have a villain that would later become the overarching villain of the rest of a cartoon.
