No wonder she’s so happy around Suny, she might be the first pony in years to interact with her.
Sunny had/has a Dad. Hitch doesn’t seem to have any parents and Izzy seems to be in that same boat.
At least Izzy isn’t aggressively needy like Pinkie is. Izzy is already a huge upgrade from Pinkie Pie imo.
It’s also a nice contrast to Pinkie. Both have similar personalities but one has lots of friends and the other doesn’t.
