I’d like to visit all 3 places

Three great places to live.

One thing I find particularly notable is that, despite how much further advanced these pony societies have become, they are all still lacking two major elements of our present-day civilized world: weapons that use gunpowder, and anything that runs on an internal combustion engine. In other words, they still don’t have things like guns, cars, or planes, yet they now have technology as advanced as smartphones (which for us has been around for barely more than a decade by now).

you can get a cell signal in some of the oldest cities on earth too. also cell phones aren’t fiction.

Zephyr Heights seems more like what passed for futuristic in the 1930s. Art deco buildings with lots of shiny metal, high ceilings and bridges.
