Despite having some interesting hobbies, Wyk is considered to be Ponyville’s heart throb. Older residents [especially moms] are impressed by his gentle manners and adherence to tradition, people closer to his age find him handsome and little kids want to be like him or hang out with him.  
Wyk is a tall statuesque stallion standing at the same height as Queen Celestia if not slightly shorter. He’s on various town committees and is the newest coordinator for Winter Wrap up as Twilight Sparkle has her hooves full. He’s won several years in a row during The Running of the Leaves and is deeply intrenched in the activities around Ponyville. He’s currently apprenticing at town hall and wants to be the next Mayor of Ponyville.  
That being said, Wyk is a deeply sarcastic and ambivert boy with a combative side. A few of his passions outside of his service to the community are his loves cats, anything wiccan and old artifacts. He likes to helps out as he was raised by down-to-earth farmers who have long lasting ties to their community but this works and volunteering he does triggers his insanely competitive nature. By design however, his affect on the people around him causes a lot of conflict as others vie for his attention. Wyk likes to feel wanted even if he gets no praise for his contributions.
 
When he’s not helping out around Ponyville or squashing competition he to be alone with his friends…where sometimes the competition continues. He’s very affectionate and such a hopeless romantic. Him and Phoenix Fireworks love to read romance novels and fanfic together. In fact, Wyk is still actively searching for his “Prince Charming”
 
He also works-out with his bff and ex Milly Pie. The two dated for over two years but broke up because both of their schedules were incompatible and neither wanted to budge. Granted Milly tried a bit harder than Wyk did. They’re still close friends and Milly is still open to dating again in the future.
 
He’s also in constant competition with his friends Pastel and Chihiro but for different reasons. He and Pastel [like their mothers] are very athletic. The competing was started by Dash when the boys were foals but it took on a mind of it’s own. Pastel thinks it’s a game and it kind of is but Wyk does like to prove he’s better. It annoys him that agility wise, Pastel is far superior. Can’t beat a Pegasi at their game.  
Chihiro is his rival in all things magic. Their competition is snarky and ruthless but they both like it that way. People genuinely mistake them as enemies but Wyk would die for Chihiro. HOWEVER, like all of his friends, while he loves her, he’ll also quite easily resort to tripping her out of spite. Chihiro would do the same.
