Maybe its just me; I really want Dash to have her ass kicked legitimately- its obvious in hindsight the battle between Octavia and her was an elaborate bluff and show that fooled everypony, including Tri-Horn and Spike, and I can see her ego is gonna quadruple afterwards…

Spike’s pretty much bulletproof, so it’s safe to assume his body can withstand the explosion.
