It makes more sense since Twilight=Snake and Trixie=Ocelot.
 
Sam is also reckless and cocky like LD, but duels like Trixie (forced loss in the first battle, but is defeated in the next.)

So this leaves Sundowner then?  
We could go with Celestia for the obvious “sun” thing, though she doesn’t really fit that well.
 
Big Mac fits more with being the big guy, and the accent that’s close to what Sundowner has.
 
Though I have a gut feel that Sombra would make the best Sundowner.
