That’s the kind of fun thing I’d love to see happen. I’d disagree with your guess, though; I’d think the second triggered ability is checking to see if the first ability occurred and it would find that the first ability didn’t. If my wild, uneducated guess is right, though, it would require some errata and maybe a rewrite of 614.6’s “A modified event occurs instead, which may in turn trigger abilities.”
Also: Should this be a Food itself? Has the armor become inedible? Would you eat a corndog that’s been rubbing against a stallion? No, wait, don’t answer that one.

Fair enough, I suppose. The alterative is to make the Food creation an after effect of the attach ability, but then if the to-be-equipped creature is removed in response, you’d get nothing.

Yes. The good news is that such an effect does not yet exist. Even Crafty Cutpurse still has you create the token, just under someone else’s control.
(Granted, I’m sure Wizards will print a “Players can’t create tokens” effect at some point, but this is one of those cases that’s so niche, the niche hasn’t even been carved yet.)

Actually, does it still equip itself if it triggers a Esix, Fractal Bloom?
