I am human, hear me err.
If each of the crusaders was going to be matched up with a pokemon, considering Applebloom grew up on a farm where they mainly raised apples, bulbasaur would be the best match up for her. I imagine Sweetie Belle would be happy with any starter she got. As for Scootaloo, if she still looked up to Rainbow Dash and wanted to be as much like her as she could, I’d expect her to choose squirtle. On the other hand, hoof, whatever, if she wanted to choose the starter closest to her coat color, charmander would be the more reasonable choice.
