Yeah, I was referring to the fact that neither of them were shown in animation. There is a lot that we are waiting to see right now, hence why I am so excited for the first trailer to be released.
I wouldn’t call being accidentally shown in merchandise (Zipp also got this but her artwork was on the tip of a shoe which wasn’t even the major focus but one of multiple merchandise in the corner of the screen) as being “leaked” but I get what you mean with neither of them appearing in the animation yet.

Yeah, same here. Really, I want all of the new characters to be well developed and likable. The brief descriptions of Izzy being innocent and Sunny being cheerful do give me hope in them, though. At least those two characters will be fun to watch over time. Still, I think there is a lot they are still hiding from us, as I believe there will be a total of 6 main characters as there was with G4 and they have only shown 3 (with Pipp being leaked rather than shown).

I don’t think she will be like that at all. Frankly, I think she will be a bit like Pinkie Pie rather than Cozy Glow.
Seriously, she is a main character. Why do you think the staff would make a main character narcissistic? Main characters, all main characters, are meant to be liked. You think they would be idiotic enough to make an unlikable main character? Or do you just want her to be arrogant so that you have something to be proud of?

she’s not hated now and I doubt the fandom will hate you for liking a pony. after reading the description for the G5 movie I’m convinced Sunny is gonna have an arrogent and neurotic personality at best. I will admit to being wrong about her being despised by everyone but if she is liked it’ll be in the same vane as liking cozy glow.

Why would people despise her? While she isn’t the favorite that doesn’t mean that people hate her.
Frankly, I would never despise her as you say. Then again, Sunny is my personal favorite over Izzy. Does that mean the Brony fandom will despise me?

Yep, and that is before even a single trailer is released. We don’t even know what these characters sound like, or that much about their personalities (Hitch doesn’t even have an official personality as of now-only Izzy and Sunny have been given brief character descriptions, and even those description leave a lot open for interpretation).

Interesting. Pretty good description of Sunny, though I hope that the creators of the show will eventually reveal more about Izzy.
Also, the fact that they include the phrase ‘the town has had enough’ makes me think that Ponyville in G5 will be a lot more…antagonistic compared to Ponyville in G4, where everypony seemed to be welcoming. I don’t know how I feel about that, honestly.
Sunny is “a feisty and idealistic young Earth Pony – is convinced there’s still hope for this divided world, but her slightly misguided and often hilarious efforts to change hearts and minds have led to her being branded a misfit.”
The only thing it says about Izzy is “When Sunny befriends a lost Unicorn named Izzy, who wanders innocently into the Earth Pony town of Maretime Bay, the town has had enough.”

Where in the synopsis did it say Izzy was ‘such innocent’? I don’t recall the plot saying anything about the personalities of any of the characters.
Also, are we starting to see the ‘cult of Izzy’? Because I have seen a lot of Izzy fanatics as of late.
Not gonna lie her hair/manestyle looks beautiful tho. Along with the tennis ball thing that the cuteness has been doubled. Also, from the movie’s synopsis we got which said that izzy is such innocent, she deserves the love.
