While Twilight and Spike are off to the Friendship tour, Celestia and Luna spend their vacation in Las Pegasus. They couldn't pass the claw machine, because there is a plushie of new ruler. Celestia is determined to get it.
I'd assume the first was a given. I'd figure she'd rather keep it in storage for a few decades or centuries and then start a museum though.
