I find that highly unlikely, three years don’t really have the ability to communicate at that level. It seems more likely that the person who made the post made up a child to offer “cred ability” to their argument. Really though if it is true it’s probably because very small children don’t have good memories and dislike change the status quo is common in children media because of this. Twilight had a character/story arc this is the end of that arc/story and now we have a new one.

My three year old severely autistic sister, who throws violent tantrums if a single item on her dinner plate touches another item, was also midly peeved that Twilight Sparkle grew wings, while her current Twilight Sparkle plushie had none.

What’s the point of this post sides “OMG S3 FINALE BAD”? My neighbor’s daughter was screaming like a fangirl over the finale. She loved it.

I saw this all the time on /mlp/ with ANY episode. “I hated this episode. To back this up, my little brother/sister/daughter/son/cousin hated it.” Even the earlier episodes of S1. It’s kind of a gimmick.

Like I said to Mr. Horrible, I’m not going to say one way or the other if I think this is real, but the reasons people are putting forth to believe that it isn’t are a little weak.
 
Do you really expect someone to film their child every time they watch a cartoon?

Out of the millions of little girls who watch the show, it shouldn’t be surprising if some of them aren’t happy with the change. I know if I were a kid, I’d be upset that Twilight would seemingly have to give up being a librarian and living in a library.
 
(Of course, I was an odd kid…)

All I’m saying is I’ve seen a hell of a lot of people saying shit like “Twilicorn is stupid and sucks and I hate it and oh yeah I have a little sister in the target demographic who agrees with me so that means I’m right so there.” It’s TOO convenient.
