The DA journal will be to do with people joyously celebrating Derpy’s appearances in the latest episode as a counter to the allegation that she was being phased out in this season. I’ve already seen a few places where individuals have pointed her out with comments to the effect “fuck you Yamino” for the perceived victory over her evil censoring efforts.

Yamino spoke out publically about what she perceived as the negative portrayal of the disabled (mentally or otherwise) via Derpy, as did many others, and she understandably considered the name “Derpy” to be a slur based on the history of the term. She’s not personally responsible for anything, but as one of that group who has a particular degree of internet fame already because of her other works, she was the most high-profile and therefore managed to attract all the blame when the censoring happened. IIRC she has said she had no contact with Hasbro at all about it - she didn’t try to email them to complain or anything, she just spoke about it on her blog.
 
If she wasn’t so self-righteous about it every time it gets brought up, I doubt she’d have gotten so much flak for it, but nonetheless there it is.

One of the few who did not like Derpy’s appearance in The Last Roundup. Not the one who “killed” Derpy, but is the most notable one that people scapegoat.
 
To this day bitter bronies still send her messages about it. The issue did die down, at least until Yamino’s latest DeviantArt-blog about the finale that seemed very passive-aggresive against bronies put more fuel to the fire.

I think she was the person who wrote to Hasbro and said that Derpy’s portrayal in “The Last Roundup” was an insult to mentally disabled people.

She was one of the more vocal detractors against Derpy, cops a lot of undeserved hate but seems to like the attention So I am honestly not sure how I feel about her.  
All you really need to know is whenever Derpy becomes an issue both Yamino and her haters will feed.
