Celestia Gala Dress

Last night I designed a dress for Celestia, (if she would wore dresses), for the Grand Galloping Gala.

‘Hmm,’ I thought. ’I want to present the content of this pencil sketch, but in a more colorful way. Should I draw it? No. Should I color it digitally? Heh, no. I WILL MAKE AN EXTREMELY TIME-CONSUMING, TEDIOUS COLLAGE. HAHA!”

Still, I’m rather proud of this. It’s my first attempt at paper art, so I hope I did okay. Any tips or advice to improve my artwork would be much appreciated!

(Oh, and those smudges behind her are supposed to be silver glitter glue. It didn’t turn out well in the scan at all.)

(And yes, I know that her hair is multicolored, but honestly? I didn’t even want to try to attempt that. Just…think of it as young Celestia, okay?)
