One of the few upsides to leaving the vault was that now she could pee on the floor without anypony complaining about it. Of course few of the places she stopped by had a roof left, but it was the principle that mattered to her.

Fair enough :p
@Lemotter
Yes? I don’t really use that site.
It’s the most important part of the image, after all.
you know e621??
“Yes, I know they are candy colored magical ponies going on big adventures but their piss streams MUST be anatomically accurate, goddammit!”
You all have the knowledge that makes pony imageboards so much better than any other community’s imageboards.
Hence, “peeing like a racehorse!”

The “Derpibooru exclusive” tag only means that it was posted here first. I don’t (yet, at least) use any of the other boorus that popped up (mostly because I don’t want to keep tabs on multiple accounts).

…and knowing is half the battle! Good explanation.
@Boithat26
I’ve done a couple, but I don’t advertise them. Sent you a PM.
It’s not inaccurate, the artist got it right. Primates, such as humans, have bizarre genital anatomy that is very different from typical mammals. (Think about males too: when was the last time you saw a human whose penis lies in a sheath along his belly; and when was the last time you saw any other mammal whose penis wasn’t stored that way?) Primates are just odd. Spotted hyenas do out-odd primates, but only slightly. Only hyenas give birth through a penis-like clitoris, but in several primate species the urethra runs through the clitoris just like in the male’s penis.
In most mammals (including horses) the external vulva is just the outer end of a tube-like vagina, distinguished only in that the “vulva” is defined as the part of the tube between the urethra and the outside, and the “vagina” is the part of the tube between the urethra and the cervix. There’s no separate shallow vestibule into which the vagina and urethra separately open, it’s just one continuous tube. The urethra of a typical mammal opens into the bottom wall of the vagina some distance inside, just behind the clitoris (which is also on the bottom wall of the vagina, not separated in a hood outside the vagina). The aim of the urethra points upwards from the bottom as well as towards the back. So this picture is what a mare who really needed to go actually looks like. In a mare who urinates without urgency, the urine mostly wells out and gravity makes it run along the bottom corner of the vagina and over the clitoris like a sluiceway. But in some mares, or if the flow rate is high enough, the up-and-back stream shoots well above the floor of the vagina, where it is squeezed by the sides of the vagina into a flat sheet that emerges from some or all of the external opening. Like in this picture.
Eh, on mares the urethra is further back, so when they pee it just sort of splurts out. If the vulva is closed at the time it tends to cause a tall and narrow stream. I might overcook it a little but it should still be on the more accurate side.
And that’s where you’re completely wrong. What it’s shown here is a mare peeing full blast and it can look like that when they do. For a human it would be wrong yes but not in that case ;3
Great image, really like it. Keep up the good work!
The whole vulva isn’t where a female urinates from. The larger hole – the actual vagina, is used for reproductive purposes. Not expelling urine.
Powerful stream or not, streams like this are just… Not correct in any form.
