If you want to be precise, Hitler’s national socialism was economically centrist and ultrastatist, with Mussolini’s fascism slightly to the left. National socialism, as defined most simply by Hitler, is the worldview wherein one’s foremost priority is the health of their race and nation, and one could technically be a National Socialist and occupy any position on the political map, so long as they occupied that position for that reason.
