Whether or not the comics are canon is up to debate. The show has contradicted itself on a number of occasions and has surprisingly referenced the comics at least once.
I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility if they are canon.

You’re right. We only got the one episode. Most of Spike’s interactions are in the background or in the comics.
Granted, they are nice interactions. A few examples:
Show: Spike dancing with Sweetie Belle, Spike helping Apple Bloom clean.
Comics: Spike and Apple Bloom building a snowdragon together (aw!), Sweetie Belle sleeping with a Spike plushie (AW!), Apple Bloom jumping into Spike’s arms when she’s frightened (lol aw!)
But yeah, I wish we got more actual Spike x CMC episodes.
Yeah, I’m not very fond of Spike x Rarity, but the art of those two is good.
I’m not really a Spike x cmc shipper myself I prefer him and Sweetie’s sister more but I can always appreciate good art.
Me too, i mean, there was only one episode where spike is with the cmc.
I think they have the same age, i would love more episodes like just for sidekicks
I just get bored is all. Plus, I always wanted to see Spike spend more time with the CMC.

Well, I say you should buy the games if they’re cheap and then look for the consoles in other stores or online.
You know what’s funny? I recently moved from my old department and now I have a videogame store which has a lot of vintage games from various consoles (Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Wii, etc)and they’re actually not that expensive. I actually have seen Ocarina of time along with some others like Majora’s mask, Mario Sunshine and the ocasional Metroid.
The problem is, they don’t sell the consoles :(

When I was a kid, I didn’t have a Nintendo 64. I only ever saw Ocarina of Time at a friend’s house when his mom used to babysit me. I wanted to play it so bad. I have, and I love it! Malon is my favorite girl 🥰
