Adam’s five lines as a conscious digital entity, instead of the one without its human memories, was more interesting, we all seem to agree.
 
Seeing as it’d be really weird not to include him in Metroid V, I’d be happy to see his character grow-ish beyond his appearence in MOM once it gets out of Dev Hell.
 
I say grow-ish because it’s not really Adam, it’s his mind inside an AI, but at the least there’s all that Sora/Edward Elric Head Games by Foreigner stuff that he could go into. Which would be really hilarious because, and keep in mind he was able to override the entire BSL, if he decides to hack an entire GF station, and if he has a mental breakdown, or rather, encounters a HAL- or TEC-type logical paradox during a conversation with Samus, he’ll likely kill everyone inside it (except Samus obviously).
 
Also note that even though TEC is based off HAL, they’re rather different in all. :3
 
One last thing to note: Metroid V’s plot will have these set factors based on the ending of Fusion: Samus is wanted by the GF for destroying the BSL’s Metroid farm, but they’ll tell the public something else entirely bringing forth the usual conspiracy plot thing, lol. I have no accurate theory as to why she would ever get rid of Adam’s AI. The plot will involve her half-blood, or rather her thirds-blood…? Whatever, there’ll be Ice Missiles. :j

And in their defense, they had no input to the story.
 
The story was AAALL Sakamoto. He even instructed the voice actress to sound low key and monotone.
 
Hence why the big strong man Adam Malkovich had to do the last level for you. And thus died because Sakamoto wrote himself into a corner and didn’t know how to kill off Adam to make him seem heroic since he was just kinda… bland military general.
