Nah, Alicorns have an extremely high maximum energy output compared to other ponies (and most other lifeforms in general), so, much like a professional athlete, they need to eat a lot if they want to perform at their best.
 
That’s why Celestia ate so much cake; even if she were only moving the planet around the sun, that’d require a ludicrous amount of energy to do, and if she were actually moving the sun around the planet, that’d require millions of times more.

That Burger will go straight to her hips… Not that will be a bad thing
