Though to be fair, if this unit has any similar abilities to that of changelings, a stealthy design wouldn’t really matter since it’s main goal would be to mimic others and not be seen in it’s base form.
 
A bulky form actually accentuates a back up plan for if things start going to shit.  
It can ward off more damage and probably has more strength than anticipated.
 
Besides it’s design being somewhat bulky, it doesn’t appear to me that this unit would be referred to as slow moving.  
It seems rather agile and dexterous.

I like them, though I do think their look should be more focused on stealth and deception than bulky.
