I was being for trueful. you know that everyone doesn’t share the taste on artwork. but one thing I eon’t stand for is someone insult my friend artwork.
I don’t hate it. I can’t speak for the others, but I don’t hate it, far from it. This one just has the most noticable errors. I also mentioned your other artworks, and picked apart common errors in the others, as well as ones in this one.
You’re a beginner artist, errors are to be expected, and I want to see you succeed as an artist, cause at one point, we were all there.
Again, I can’t speak for everyone else, but, well, that’s how I feel at least.
Yes it was of course Constructive Criticism, I’m actually applying that. Some of my artworks are better than this one. I just don’t get why you people hate this drawing so much. You people should criticize my other artworks instead, not this one.
like that barely even looks like a face dude it aint good
That’s cool n’all, however I am only offering ways to potentially improve, I’m not saying anything malicious, it’s called constructive criticism.
well that art style every artist have unique style. plus there pretty much beginner only start like 3 years ago.
cut them slack they still developing there skill.
and second I love there artwork and support them.
Yeah fr tho dude, your heads in general need a LOT of work.
The ears you draw are far too large and disproportionate to the rest of the head. The head itself is misshapen and weirdly… human looking.
The eyes are what gets me with this.. while the iris’ are show accurate, the rest of the eye is.. screwy. Eyelashes are far too long, and perhaps even too many. Looking at some of your other works, they appear more as spikes coming off the cheek.
Also I’m not sure what you were going for with the nose wrinkles. If you’re trying to do a “scrunched up nose” then from this angle, there wouldn’t be much other than a subtle crease, if that.
Your ears look like a strange cross between human and pony ears, definitely get rid of the weird tapering at the end, mixing realistic horse body parts with cartoonish ponies doesn’t work, at all. Pony ears, in the show, are more leaf shaped, with a single line towards the outside of the ear to show an ear canal.
One last thing; I’ve noticed, in all of your works, prominently from the side, that your noses all have an uncomfortably sharp point at the end. Horses and ponies alike, realistic and show accurate, do not have this point, nor do their noses roll up like that to such extremes. If you can, get rid of that entirely.
Overall, if you’re going to keep the shows art style, then keep it, just don’t mix realistic horse parts with it, it comes off as extremely uncanny and strange looking, which, as you can imagine, is extremely unappealing.
At the end of the day, if you’re happy with it, great, that’s awesome, but there is definitely room for improvement.
