Spike is so cute

Would you like to actually provide evidence for this or are you just going to keep spouting bullshit so that you have a convenient excuse to complain about one of the writers? Considering the fact that Haber was on the show since season 4 and given how good the continuity for the show was for its entire run, I’m inclined to believe that you’re just spouting bullshit and talking out your ass just so you have an excuse to complain.

Many fans even prefer the EqGirls writing, so I’d loooove to see people try to use that as an excuse to hate P.L. before it even comes out.

Ah, yes… Josh Haber the “new scapegoat Megan McCarthy.” I find it funny now the same people whom for years demonized McCarthy for “ruining the show forever,” are now begging for her to come back, AND get rid of Haber.
 
I don’t even think Haber is involved in P.L. Correct me, if I’m wrong, somebody.
 
Spike did earn his wings, has been more competent, is hero-worshipped in the Crystal Empire, and more helpful lately, I felt. I’d say he hasn’t had it that bad.

I’ve never thought he should be immune to pratfalls. However he was exceedingly poorly written when Josh Haber stepped into the writing seat, writing Spike as if there was a reset button at the end of every episode and that continuity didn’t matter, forcing Spike to regress six seasons worth of character development to shoehorn him into the poorly thought out plots. This, by proxy, also turned the entire mane 6/7 into totally brain dead characters for these events to take place at all.
 
I’m actually glad we haven’t seen anything of him and I hope his screen time is minimal, even if I would have preferred he just not exist in this incarnation.

We don’t know that for sure actually, and judging from the trailer, the other characters seem to get it more then he does, (though, nothing too bad, so it’s not TTG) in fact he didn’t get any “abuse” at all.
 
(Also, the so-called “Spikeabuse” in FIM has been toned down for years now, and he’s gotten respect throughout the series too, so can we get over it?) I love Spike too, but I kinda wish fans weren’t so overly protective of him.

I’m crying too. The buttmonkey status will be cranked from 9 to 15.

He’s happy Hasbro finally remembered to put the wings back on his redesign.
