––––– Saffron Masala was a mare of many ideas, wanting to do what she loved, all the while pleasing her fellow ponies and creatures. Saffron always enjoyed doing what she can think of to keep the restaurant strong and lively. However, this instance, she kept it secret from friends and family asking, only for them to get giggling and a cheeky smile when they ask. She simply told them to arrive at the Tasty Treat later on, and so they did. There was what looked like a little stage, hidden with curtains, creatures sitting and waiting as their food was served to them.
The lights soon dimmed, leaving the restaurant dark, only the stage lit behind the curtains. Beautiful, exotic music began to play, fitting with the Tasty Treat’s look. The curtains were loose, and every creature was astounded by the sight. Saffron Masala was no longer in her casual top and scarf, but was now in shining and beautiful gold and dancer clothing, giving a look of temptation and confidence. As the music grew, Saffron moved her hips and hooves, swaying her body along with the music, gazing at the dumbfounded crowd. Some whistled at her, clapped, and of course enjoyed their food as they watched the feisty unicorn. Saffron twirled and bumped her hips, her hooves behind her head and as she danced low and back up. She learned some moves during her free time, wanting to show her newfound dancing skills. Rest assured, she put on quite a show for the restaurant, more creatures eager to drop by for some delicious meals and beautiful dancing.
I certainly had fun making this doodle. Making Saffron’s belly dancer outfit was the best part, I had to get creative with what I could do, looking up refs on the clothing to provide the skirt, veil for the hooves, golden hoof shoes. Lots of gold and transparent reds on the lovely horse, too. I stuck with colors from Saffron’s casual clothing as I wanted to have her dancer look close and faithful to it, along with the little aesthetics like the purple lines, red dots, etc. Of course, can’t leave out a little curly bang from her floofy mane.
It’s amazing, truly! Well done. :)
Yeah, this and the gala one I wanted to put more emphasis on details for the clothing, make them stand out along with Saffy~
