Description

Commissar Cheerilee sighed and tapped the map again. “Alright. For the third and hopefully final time… You three are here. You will advance down the valley to-”

The mare paused with a sigh as she watched one of her dragryn charges shift awkwardly from foot to foot. She knew what that meant. “Yes, Caldera? Do you have to go to the the potty again?”

“What? N-no! I, uh…” the brown dragryn shifted awkwardly from foot to foot. “Uh yes. But… what’s an ‘advance’?”

Cheerilee sighed. At this rate the heretics would be here before she finished her briefing and they wouldn’t NEED to advance. At least that would save some effort. Nevertheless… “It means move.”

“OH!” Caldera nodded enthusiastically. “Got it!”

“Alright. Any other questions? Anyone?” Cheerilee glared up at the squad and waited. Oh, thank Her on Equis. “Okay then. You will advance… er, MOVE, down the valley and attack the… the BAD GUYS at the objective, and… yes, Caldera?”

The bulky dragryn peered nervously at the map, then at his commissar again. “Uh Commissar, is there a potty at the objective?”

Pausing for a moment, the nonplussed Cheerilee wondered if the Sun Princess was playing a joke on her. How had the big, dumb oaf managed to remember the word for objective…? No. It didn’t matter. “I… Imagine the bad guys won’t mind where you go after the mission is done.”

Caldera nodded, satisfied. After a moment, the glacial movement of his neurons drew his pleased expression back into a frown. “But, uh… Commissar…? They don’t sound so bad. Why are we killing them again?”

“Because if you don’t kill them all, they’ll never let you go to the potty again,” snapped the thoroughly irritated pony.

The squad let out a strangled gasp. Caldera’s ripper gun creaked as the incensed creature’s claws tightened on its stock. Even the normally placid Barry looked incensed. “Those… those bastards!

“Yes, they’re horrible,” Cheerilee grumbled. Maybe she’d be lucky and catch a las-round on this mission. She could do with some time off. “Ready?”

The dragryn squad roared in approval. The heretics weren’t going to know what hit them.

Dragons! Ponies! WarHams. It must be a Tuesday if I’m posting all those things together in a picture. I am not entirely sure how many of you might be getting tired of seeing me draw this crossover, but for the sake of variety I’ve been drawing other things aside from this. My backlog of uploads is full of horse in power armour though, so there’s a few more pictures themed around this crossover that I’ve not uploaded yet. I plan on posting them more regularly, so while you’ll be getting more pictures a week you’re going to be seeing more WarHam pones in the future, that much I can assure you.

Drawing this guys was a good amount of fun, as you might have seen from my comments on the WiP posts I made as a companion piece for this one.

Ah yes. The Dragons of the Imperial Guard. When these heroes of the Pony Empire get shipped out to fight and die mostly die they’re officially listed in the files as ‘cargo’. Because that’s how they’ll be returning.
