Megan is a very good leader and a mother-figure to the ponies to keep them safe. Danny, however, was WAY more than that, he saved Ponyland from the Gizmonks, Squirk… even a gang of dragon bullies.
It ain’t worth being protective over one single goofy side-character made for comic relief only and showing dislike towards another species. :/
