The thing is, if they thought the bronies were as important as the bronies think they are, they would keep Derpy as a background pony and profit off derpy merchandise. But seeing as people tried to order Hasbro to do something and they did exactly the oppisite you should realise you have little control over them.

Not sure if should add Captain Hindsight tag.

As for myself, I’ll wait and see how it’s handled and only complain if it’s really really REALLY bad.

My point was that unfortunately bitching about something can get it changes, so you saying Hasbro not caring about it is wrong, not that it’s right to have it done, it was stupid that that change to Derpy in the show was really dumb.  
The point is if you bitch enough, Hasbro cares, but only for the sake of what thay think will make more profit.

Ironically Derpygate is a perfect example of my point, if all the bitching in derpygate achieved anything all, it was convincing Hasbro to phase out Derpy once and for all. But good odds are it really didn’t and you were wasting your time.
