Description
A piece depicting a scene from a large group RP I am in. And yes, I know they aren’t acting completely safe at the range, heh.

“…”
“Oh, guns are fine too, I guess. It would help if you didn’t hold it like a pussy.”
“Who are you?”

Yes, you can even use a dummy object if you have to. Firearms are only dangerous if you handle them improperly, and that dude is in a position to hurt himself. If you improperly hold a weapon, you could hurt or kill someone. Proper handling of a firearm is the very first thing you learn before you can be allowed onto a range.
What I will give this image is good trigger discipline. A lot of people Will tell you to keep the finger at the side of the trigger, but keeping it below the trigger guard is good too. All he needs to do is move his right thumb and he’ll be holding that pistol properly. Handling a firearm as one of those “the more you know, the better” things. I just like putting out information in the hopes that people won’t hurt themselves, mostly because I’ve seen it happen before.

Shrugs To be honest I’ve never fired a pistol before and this was the first time the artist was drawing material like this as well which I felt worked out in the end as it is supposed to convey he has no idea what he is doing.
You gotta practice stance in another room before you can stand around at the range? :L
Their friend didn’t have the intelligence to show them how to properly hold it and a proper stance beforehand?
Because he is a newb and his friend has a lot to correct before he is ready to squeeze the trigger.
Sort of intentional as this was his first time firing a gun in the scene with his friend talking him through things so she is going through the process of explaining everything. He has a lot that needs corrected, heh.
