Yeah, looks like it never even made it through the graphics art department. Or if it did, they were already on their way out the door for the weekend and the job requirements were “Cover for DVD: NOW.”
It’s not like there was alot of effort put into this particular dvd cover anyway.The older German dvds looked so much nicer than this minimalist style.
Things change. Maybe they just omitted it in the kit this year or something. Maybe next year it will be back. Maybe the people creating the cover just repurposed the English language assets because they got the job at 3pm on Friday and it was due by 5.
(not that I’ve ever worked in the industry and saw that happen a million times …)

The 2020 branding library doesn’t have a German language logo. So it’s the current branding.
I guess after a while they stopped changing it.Or maybe this is an early placeholder image.
