Don’t let the size of the image fool you. He only looks small because his wings are taking up 90% of the image, but he’s supposed to be humongous! This is Scorpan in his final and most powerful form similar in size and power amount to Tirek when he took all the alicorn magic. How he manages to get this big and why he does it will be explained in a later chapter for “Flurry Heart’s Story” one day hopefully.
 
You may notice I took a lot of inspiration from the design of Scorpan’s face in the old “Rescue at Midnight Castle” MLP movie from the 80s when I was designing this one’s face. I wanted there to be a lot more details with face wrinkles and fur on his body to help show the scale we are dealing with here. Let me reiterate, he is HUGE.
