Once it’s time to unwrap them they will need a bath if they’ve been under there for days (seeing as how Fluttershy’s gag says to open on Christmas Eve they must’ve been put there before then). Unless there was some sort of Christmas (or chaos) magic involved, of course.

I don’t think I’d have nothing to do, the recipient might be one of those people who likes to feel and squeeze and grab at their gifts while trying to guess what they are. Even if it’s obvious, they could still act like they don’t know

Now that we’re on the subject, their pajama pants will be wet for sure if placed there on Christmas Eve. If they’ve been there for a few days, they’ll probably be more than just wet.
 
If you’re into bondage but wetting is a turn-off, you could just say a common anomaly of fiction applies like when the Main 6 were locked up by Starlight for days and EqG Rainbow Dash spent two days as a snowman, all without needing to pee once (well, we’re not so sure about Rainbow), though of course I’ll think otherwise in my headcanon (whatever the story of this image is).
