Well, yeah that would be the logical thing to do but clearly Rainbow Dash here is blinded by rage. The next page will likely have someone hold back Dash and tell her to get a hold of herself and then explain what you said.
It might be wise to interrogate him first. If they had anything to do with it, they’d actually be able to learn information that could help them rescue the foals. Killing the drone doesn’t help them get those back, and they might come to regret it if it’s a misunderstanding.
It’s hardly an inappropriate reaction. Rainbow Dash thinks the changeling killed a bunch of foals.
