Part of growing up is learning the lesson that nothing stays the same forever - the only constant is time’s inexorable march forward. A good corollary is that the more things change, the more they stay the same - so even as things change around you, there will be constant pillars in that moment, and if you can find those, you will stay grounded, and weather the change, perhaps coming out the better.
