@Background Pony #0168 Also a reference to Aegon the Unlikely, who became king after a whole buncha other candidates died or took vows that kept them from inheriting.
@NeoEnvy
If it is, I’m not too worried.
Meghan mentioned that G5 is literally FiM, just done better. They are going into it knowing this is more than just a commercial for toys, that this has alot of passionate fans, and want to start strong, and get stronger as it goes.

Oh, it isn’t going anywhere. The big reason we would be at risk of that is if MLP ended. But, we know officially it won’t be ending. We are about 2 years from a major MLP movie, and Tara Strong mentioned a few months ago that she believes FiM will return in a new form.
But more importantly, like fandoms such as Star Trek, our fandom is about more than the show. We found something truly special in FiM, and even if we never get another official MLP show, even if we have nothing but bad shows ahead, what we found special about FiM is never going away.
Well, and the point of the epilogue is to show that even years from bow, the magic of Friendship will continue.
For us, that means it will continue through fans who remain devoted to the show, new fan created content, new official content, or even those who find FiM re invented in a new era.
Friendship is forever.

Lester the Unlikely, a hilariously stupid video game character in a hilariously stupid game of the same name.
See? I just squeezed a videogame joke AND a Song of Ice and Fire joke together. Brohoof!
Right!?
Can’t wait!
