To me, I started university a few months before the series began (though I only started watching the series halfway through Season 2) and now both the series and my time at university are ending one month away from each other.
It’s worth making friends, Twilight Sparkle… NOT!
You’re going to be an eternal, pretty princess and hide behind a “love and tolerance” mask.
You’re going to see as your friends grow up, become old and die.
The next generation of your friends will die too.
And the next one.
And the next one.
You will forget the names of all your friends after millenia of smiling to crowds from your fancy castle.
You will become cold and regal, hiding behind facade of a beloved princess.
You will find sad and evil ponies and turn them into tools.
They will become tests for your new pupil, your successor.
If he or she will pass all the tests, you will kill the useless foes and pass the crown.
You won’t care about villains reforming and making friends.
You won’t care how many friends the new princess will make.
All of them will die.
Friendship is magic. Magic is power. Friendship is power.

Jezz I’m trying to be positive and looking back on how much the show meant to it’s generation and here you come too bring down the mood.
Fun Fact: the kids that were like 12 or 13 when mlp came out are currently in high school it’s beautiful how much this show and it’s characters have grown along side it’s audience.

@Pudding Pone
October 10th, 2010 was the first episode of FiM.
October 12th, 2019 is the finale date.
9 years and 2 days.
Undershooting a bit there, Pudding.
Congrats.
It feels fitting.
…Yeah…It was fun to grow with them wasn’t It?
Wow that really sweet
Edited because: Typo
Whatever you say, Reaper.
Um, I was 11 when MLP came out and I’m in college. Think your math may be a tiny bit off

Sorry.
I liked that angle in the final episode. 9 years is long time for children.
