I know, but that’s the point, it’s ridiculous and super unlikely, but whatever “it” is “it” happened.
It doesn’t make sense that those weren’t his. “Heteropaternal superfecundation” is a stuff than can only happen in a bad soap-opera-style fanfics, it’s even worse than inheriting both parents’ eye colors with heterochromia. The chance of it happening is the same as meteor strike killing you.

Well, they never did a fraternity test (as far as I know), and even he can’t find the right words to describe how it was possible to conceive fraternal twins each of races separated from their parents. It would be a bit like two white people somehow producing a black and asian child with no other explanation than, my cousin is black and my great grandfather is asian “that makes sense, right.”
They actually are his.
I’m still 90% sure those weren’t his.
Pound Cake’s parents are BOTH earth ponies, and he was flying perfectly as a baby.
Her father is an Earth Pony, and her mother is a pegasus. That might have had something to do with it.

Okay then.
Still not the most horrible thing ever. It’s good to have a cool character in the show living her life with a disability. It will give viewers hope for themselves. Like I said on another related image post, I’ll bet Scootaloo still is skilled at her scooter and probably performs stunts with it on the side. She still turned out well
