Page 62 - Mocking at the Meanie
Limericks and I have an interesting relationship. They’re not usually considered classy poetry, and I haven’t been particularly fond of poetry in general since middle school. But I’ve recently come to like limericks in particular, and I don’t quite know why.
Regardless… Music, poetry, games; as long as it makes someone smile, it works for Pinkie Pie.

Transcript:
Pinkie Pie: I’m ready! One fresh Glib Limerick, hot off the presses!
DM: Let’s hear it.
You think, with these awful trees near,
I’m ready to shed a fresh tear?
That’s simply not true.
I have news for you!
The last thing I’m feeling is fear!
Why are their faces so vile?
These florae aren’t even hostile!
This grimacing herd
is merely absurd;
my only recourse is to smile!
That Nightmare Moon made a big gaffe.
We don’t need a dagger or staff.
When fighting the ghostly,
we move in real closely
and shame them away with a laugh!
DM: Did you just come up with that now?
Pinkie Pie: Wait, I’m not done! I’ve got five more stanzas!
DM: Ah, no, that won’t be necessary… I think the barbarian will go mad if I let you continue.
Rainbow Dash: Too… much… cheerfulness…
