That was a good show, in fact you can’t go wrong with the Bruce Timverse anything really.

My favorite part of that particular episode is this.

Lex : (In Flash’s body.) “At least, now I can find out the Flash’s secret identity.”
(Takes off mask, and gazes into the bathroom mirror.)
…………….
Lex : “…I have no idea who this is.”

Another show that did not swap the voices was Justice League but I guess that should be no surprise since Justice League was such a well made show. Lex Luthor and The Flash swapped bodies in a episode.

I think Teletubbies was much worse then Barney personally. At least, Barney is kinda educational, and somewhat entertaining for kids over 3. Teletubbies doesn’t even teach kids anything, or come off as having any intelligence whatsoever, and honestly they’re much more annoying. Barney’s annoying, and gets made fun of more, sure, but at least he talks, and doesn’t quite talk down as much to kids, and doesn’t just run around, and babble like an insane infant creature abomination.
The Teletubbies make Barney look as difnified as Orson Welles in comparison.

The Teletubbies also come off a bit creepier, and stupider, especially the whole “Again again!” bit where they actually reshow the same video bit that they just showed kids a moment before, like they think kids are so stupid you have to show them the same short twice. It’s an incredible insult to kid’s intelligence.

Regardless, I never liked either show as a small kid. I liked Sesame Street much better.

Sometimes people just mention something and then others reply and soon everyone is talking about something else. It’s a natural drift in topics and not a derailment at all (this isn’t one of those cases where someone went “this topic is now about x”).

Teletubbies was kinda terrible to begin with, it makes “Barney the Purple Dinosaur” look like Einstein. (At least he taught kids stuff.)

And yeah, actually alot of kid’s shows can get serious at times.

I recall people being pissed when they rebooted Teletubbies which was always a show that you just played to keep kids quiet. That’s not to say all children shows was pandering of course. Power rangers is often seen as a goofy kid show but it could get serious RPM despite being based on a goofy senta itook place in the last remaining human city in a post-apocalyptic earth

Also it’s not like the stuff we watched as kids was intelligent.
I will ever watching stuff like Barney the dinosaur and Dora the explorer.I’ve only seen trailers but I think even the live action movie made fun of how Dora pandered to children

Yeah, it does seem like they’re trying to make it too obvious.

Similarly, it does make characters look stupid when they don’t notice their best friend is replaced by a rather obvious-sounding/looking robot. In fairness, in some cases like the Sweetie-bot meme, it’s used for comedy.

but I understand it’s possible their changed voices are only meant to be heard by the viewer,

I remember in Jake long American Dragon they straight up say that’s not the case. even if it is the case in most of the time it still makes episode look like it’s not respecting the audience or it taking the easy way out

Yeah, it does kinda make the characters look off that they don’t notice the voice change, but I understand it’s possible their changed voices are only meant to be heard by the viewer, and they might sound normal to the characters’ in-show. Only show I can think of where characters noticed the voice change was in Disney’s “Adventures of the Gummi Bears.”

Part of the reason MLP:FiM has been so successful is, even when they do cliché cartoon plots, they at least usually try to do rather different spins on them, which is something I always liked.
