Well, but they are crystal turtles that fell in a sewer, became alive anthro turtles due to radiation, and were found by an asian-breed rat who also became anthro due to radiation.
 
Their diet would be completely different than human diet, while Splinter of course would eat typical mouse food and chinese\japanese food that is not poisonous for a mouse, the TMNT would propably be able to eat almost anything that is on a pizza. Propably even things that are not normally edible.

Well, the new episode “Pinkie Pride” seems to show pizza exists in Equestria. (Though vegetarian, of course. Instead of pepperoni, they use tomato slices. My Dad actually likes to put those on his pizza.)  
Just ‘cause something isn’t shown in the show yet doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

Actually, i believe Star Dreams is canon to MLP:FIM show, she just has never met Applejack. In fact, the in-universe reason for the toyline ponies not appearing in the show, is because they’re ponies from other time-periods. Blossomforth, Sweetcream Scoops, Pepperdance, and Diamond Rose are the only exceptions, of course. (Blossom is obvious, Sweetcream and Diamond are in the pony comic, and Pepperdance plays in the same band as Lemon Hearts.)
 
The “couples” from the Friendship Celebration set are actually from different time periods.
 
Blossomforth and Flower Wishes (have a tea party for two): Present day, of course! Flower Wishes is none other than Daisy, and Blossomforth appeared in Hurricane Fluttershy!
 
Lemon Hearts and Pepperdance (play together in a band!): Present day, Lemon Hearts often appears as a background pony in Ponyville! Maybe a bit ajar from the show s’ setting, as Pepperdance never appeared. If she were an actual backround pony, i’d put her as http://static4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130524222719/mlp/images/f/ff/Apricot_Bow_ID_S2E14.png Apricot Bow, or http://static4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120123194028/mlp/images/5/50/Happy_cowpony_S02E14.png Wildwood Flower. Ok, maybe Colgate is the band’s singer providing bandmembers from all pony eras, or maybe one of the two time-travelled with Doctor Whoove’s TARDIS as a companion, but to me, she’s just out-of-camera. Maybe she’s the one filming the cartoon?
 
Sugar Grape and Lulu Luck (read stories at their sleepover): Future. Propably around 300-400 years after the show’s setting, as the story they’re reading is the story of the current Elements of Harmony. Sugar Grape is propably a Rarity descendant, and Lulu Luck is propably descended from Sweetcream Scoops- Bitta Luck may be a distant cousin of Lulu.
 
Sweetie Swirl and Firecracker Burst (have a pizza party): Propably future too, as pizzas are never seen in the show proper. Propably the same time as Lulu + Sugar, and maybe also the same time as Star Dreams. Notice how the other two future ponies are having a sleepover? Yeah, Sweetie Swirl notes having Sweetcream Scoops and Holly Dash as her “modern day” ancestors, and Firecracker Burst can say the same for Lightning Dust!
 
This leaves Rainbow Flash and Sweetie Blue as being past-ponies! (have fun at a birthday party!): Rainbow Flash is totally a distant ancestor of RD, but also of Holly Dash and Sweetie Swirl! And Sweetie Blue is totally a Cup Cake ancestor! (and they’re from around 400-500 years ago?)
 
And, last but not least, Lily Blossom and Bumblesweet (go on a picnic outside… in the same time period as Rainbow Flash and Sweetie Blue!): Lily Blossom is related to Derpy Hooves and Cloud Kicker, while Bumblesweet is related to Honeybuzz, and maybe Peachy Pie and Sunny Daze.

This means it’s possible that Star Dreams is not a canon pony. They just made her so you could customize her to Dinky Hooves (or Tootsie Flute or Ruby Pinch).
 
Unless she IS “Ruby Pinch”, but Hasbro decided to transform her into AJ s’ slumber-party-mate instead of her fanon personality\backstory as Berry Punch s’ overprotected daughter.

What is weirder is that the embodiment of the Element of Honesty has been doing sleepovers almost every night since forever with a blank-flanked unicorn filly with a very similiar color scheme to Princess Celestia, and not just did not told that to her friends, but did not tell anything about this to her also-blank-flanked earth pony little sister that desperately wanted to get her cutie mark. And for some reason this filly has never appeared in the show, and neither Applejack or Apple Bloom never mentioned her.

The bed has the three best pony on it!
