that specific portal only works because Magic was involved and abides by physics. As was shown with Midnight Sparkle: the natural barriers between dimensions can be brute-forced to have Humans end up in Equestria without turning into Ponies in the process. Chances are Ricks Portal Gun operates on a middle-ground between the two where it does abide by the laws of physics yet also bends them to a degree without breaking reality in the process.

Seeing as humans get turned into ponies when portalling to Equestria, I think that is our Rick and Morty. Also, there are only five members of the Council, and Rick murdered them all in The Rickshank Rickdemption.

So where does pony Rick sit in the Council of Ricks?
