The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

I don’t know. Still has that whiff of Master-Race-shenanigans to it, what with the whole “everybody is white and blond/black haired” thing.

Heh, I’ve actually been bandying around a story idea in my head about this, how spirits from the Outer Darkness, the realm between universes, at one point make their way into Equestria, taking on the forms of alicorns so as to have some sort of power over the populace. Many of the spirits, strongly influenced and corrupted in life by the Nazi ideology, create a “utopia” based on those ideals via the magic they now command that generally flies through the sky like some sort of flying continent. They raid and invade other countries and settlements for slaves and resources, feeling justified due to being the “superior race”.

Meanwhile, the actual, native alicorns of Equestria band together with god-beings of other races, including their predecessors, the Titan/Jotunn deities who literally fashioned the world into being, in order to stop this threat. Going to war with the false-alicorns, they force the flying continent to crash to the earth, razing the “utopia” to the ground and driving the spirits back into the Outer Darkness from whence they came.

This would also explain why there were no alicorns during the Pre-Equestria Era; they were off fighting a threat literally alien to their world and reality.

Yes, I do overthink this sort of thing, why do you ask?
