This is a younger version of Celestia, when she’s mostly grown up, but in her more carefree days before she became the ruler of Equestria.
 
I based her mane and tail design on a combination of some of the comic book designs when she was this age and the stock images that you see on a lot of the merchandise, so she has a shorter ‘do with less waviness, some curls and the side-swept mane. Her eyes are similar to the comics, too. I designed and rendered them myself and machine embroidered them as well as the cutie marks. I used minky in snow, bubblegum, lime, turquoise, and lavender. She’s more lightly stuffed than I usually make, (except for her chest and neck area, which needs more stuffing to keep her head from flopping), so she’s extra cuddly. Her ears are also a little different from my usual. They are stuffed with two layers of poly batting so they are cuddlier, too. She’s about 22” long hoof to hoof, 26” or so including her tail.
 
When I first started putting her together, the horn was about 4 inches longer. Celestia has such a crazy long horn that even though I actually made it shorter than it would have been if I followed the proportions of the fully adult Celestia, it was still too long. So, I cut off a few inches and blunted it a bit. The person who commissioned her joked about the long horn being potentially eye-pokey, which gave me an idea…

Yes, I made a (removable) tennis ball out of minky. I have a ball kicking around that I used as a pattern, and it has a logo printed on it that says Penn 1. Soooo…I did this :
