Here is the original artist’s description as well:
So as you may have heard, the cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris is currently in flames, and most of the roof and the emblematic arrow from the 19th century have dissapeared.I am shocked and immensely sad. This monument was an emblem of my city and is an architectural prouesse from the 13th century.
This is the first time is gets burned this badly. It had already happened in 1718 and 1772, but this time the fire started on the scaffholdings that were surrounding the cathedral. There were apparently no victims but the firemen are still working hard to put the fire down (and failing for now because they can’t access the inflamed area).
This was done reeeeally quickly so it’s bad, I just wanted to express my sadness when I heard the news.
Good point!
But it soon will be when they add glass ceiling on Notre Dame.
This video here.
Wait, he reviewed this?
Bless PewDiePie for reviewing this shit tier memeThey’ve cut off Christian priest’s heads, made knife attacks on the rise, and sexually assaulting and trafficking women and children, and no one bats an eye. Especially the idiots in the Me Too movement. Or modern feminist in general.
But god forbid, incorrectly use some mentally ill’s pronouns and face time in prison.
Exactly. We should all be good citizen and trust the official investigation.
You know, the one who concluded it wasn’t arson nor terrorism even before the fire stopped and police could access the site …
Yeah, we should all just shut up if they say nothing happened.
875 churches got desecrated in 2018, 2019 is going at a steady 2 churches / week now - but the government say nothing is happening and Christians are just paranoids.
So when early witnesses confirm the fire started from two different place, the architect confirm that thick carpentry like that don’t take fire unless you try really hard, and the workers on site confirm that no task with fire risk was going on that week - we should totally trust our good government and journalists to not lie (again) to our face.
I know what you’re alleging. I also know that you should shut your face-hole until and unless evidence of foul play is produced.
You either don’t live in France or don’t pay attention to the news often.
Gonna have to use non-french news since the local ones fully embrace the “nothing to see, just an accident” :

Was that tweet from the construction crew that was working on Notre Dame? If so, then you have to remember they have a vested interest in pointing the blame at anyone or anything other than one of their own screw ups.
Also, where are they saying it started simultaneously from two different points? And how would they know if no ones been able to examine it?

@Ledvi
Construction crew tweeted that fire can’t start “just like that” on such building.
It also started simultaneously from two different points.
Thankfully, “French” police already concluded it wasn’t arson nor terrorism. Before they even get access to the site.
From what we know so far, the fire started on the roof - not the most accessible place for arsonists. Since the roof was undergoing some renovations, the most likely explanation I’ve seen is that flammable material - like a spark or molten debris from a weld - had settled and smoldered for a few hours out of sight, and then spread into a full fire when it got access to a new source of oxygen.
Who knows?
@Nightweaver20xx
There is the potential loss of numerous historical relics, artworks, and artifacts, and I’m reading contradicting reports as to whether or not most of them had been removed for the renovations.
At least this isn’t a terrorist attack
