Back in my day we didn’t have computers to watch ponys on, we use to carve pony pictures onto logs and send ’em down the river, then the guy who lived down the river would carve another pony picture onto that log and send it down the river agin.

Actually, they’ve had computers sense like 1940, (according to Wikipedia) they just weren’t like the ones we have nowadays, or as advanced.

@Lium: 43 years ago would have been 1970. Computers, at least in the form of programmable electronic devices (ignoring earlier mechanical “computers”), have been around since the 1940s.
