The Goth-esque eyeliner look isn’t helping much, in terms of the ‘Creepy’ factor that 3D like this gives off.
 
No wonder then, that in anime, 3D is restricted to later “Precure” series EDs; and even then, it’s cel-shaded, rather than rendered like this example (thus 2D still rules in Japan, and theirs hasn’t gone the way of animation in the US, thank Celestia!)
