I’m back to correct myself:
 
I meant “nowhere,” as in the nothingness that isn’t friendly with continuity.  
It dawned on me that it is continuity-friendly.
 
I’ve realized that their power may actually grow with more friendship; The better the friendship, the stronger the power. They could now overcome anything standing in their way, given what happened here.
